Trap music is American, and so is American Dave, an up-and-coming studio guy hailing from Boston. Honestly a lot of trap doesn’t do it for me these days but Dave manages to circumnavigate my personal tastes by using completely unorthodox samples and hitting the listener with some jazz chords on”Alarmed”. Going minimal on the Lex Luger sample pack business and focusing on weirder textures like Dave does here works wonders, you should try it sometime! Bonus points for it being a free download as well.
