Christmas was like a month ago, but who’s counting really? Timmy Trax from the Basement Movement collective recently posted a set he played at their holiday party back in December and after a listen felt it’s worth sharing. Stylistically this session is raw and unscripted, coupled with an attention-deprived sort of energy that makes it more fun to listen to than a pre-planned studio mix. Timmy drills his way through an endless stream of peak-hour house and techno exercises here, emphasizing groove over nuance. Feels like there’s like a hundred tracks in this session!
