43a by Mattlack: It’s fast, it’s minimal, and it marches along with the simplicity of just a drum kit and whirling pads. The kick even works double duty to serve up the bassline. What really helps this one stand out however is the toy piano solo which reveals itself in the very last minute of the piece. Techno’s all about throwing the listener for a loop (literally and figuratively), so this one sits right at home with that philosophy.
